Got flow numbers for the heads? Without them it's gonna be tough to get the cam close. Also what exhaust are you using?

That's a whole lot of intake for stock heads.

I'm trying to knock it, but I've never seen any stock heads off these cars that flow anywhere near enough to need that intake, no matter how much they're ported. These heads just don't have much potential.

Fastback I know what you're saying but the guy that ported these heads knows what he's doing if I remember right this was one of his factory stock motors

Too much intake not enough head. IMO. Get flow then choose cam.

I think what he is saying is, even the best ported e7 heads(thumper E7s as far as I know) won't flow enough for that intake.

And the running 10's can be believeable if he is running a foxbody that is totally gutted and has a good intake, cam, exhaust and all the other matching components. Heck a gutted fox can run 12's with a stock engine, 4.30 gears and a 28in tall slick with a good driver.

If he runs the F.A.S.T class, then those heads are miles from stock. If they're the real deal, that funnel web is probably fine. Without flow numbers though, it's still just a guessing game as to the cam to run.

Nowhere did he say these heads were from a 70's 302 he said stock heads, which in this section of the forum means E7s that is why we were going off of the known abilities of the E7 heads.

Really doesn't matter what sbf heads they were. If they're Windsor heads, they're a garbage starting point. The GT-40 stuff was the best Windsor head and that's not saying much.
