Lets start with some easy stuff. I am all about the easy stuff. Do you have cats still or off road mid pipe? If you have cats do you have a smog pump? Again, if you do, check at night to make sure they are not getting red hot after driving around. Did you change your fuel filter when you put the motor and pump in? Did you change your air filter? All of these things are common problems that cause hesitation. Did it just start doing it or has it been doing it since you put the 110 in it?

110LPH?? I thought the stock one was like a 150 or 155 LPH? I thought the first upgrade fuel pump was a 190 LPH, and then the 255 LPH, and then the 255 Hi Press LPH pump? I have never heard of a 110 pump.

Stock is like 80 lph. I believe it is 18 gph which is like 76 lph or close to it. Yes there is a 110lph. Anyways, since you blew all the easy stuff out of the water, we'll have to go to the water issue. You got me how the water would affect it that way. If it is only happening after you wash it, that it has anything to do with the size of you pump. Unless it is just a coincidence. Is that the only time it is doing it? We are back to square one. Your tps will cause hesitation. I don't know if it would cause a problem if it got wet or no. I'll back out and see if someone else can help you out. It is time (past time) for me to call it a day. Try to see if there are any codes that aren't tripping a engine light. Good luck.

Yup, do that. and put some water in a spray bottle and spray a fine mist on the spark plug wires while you're doing that. Just make sure you are in a pretty dark area because sometimes the arc isn't that bright.

my car did the same thing, driving around normal it was fine but as soon as i got on it...lots of vibration...it cut out then back on, then finally it turned off all
together...turns out it was the wires that went to the starter, they were rubbing on the header and grounded out. so u can check that. i also thought it
could be my fuel filter and pump...
