Coolant Leak!!!

having more and more issues seems like every effin day. Just last night got home and i heard a weird hissing noise coming from under the hood, checked and i smelt coolant. I looked under and it was leaking very bad. its hard to tell where its coming from, not the hoses or the radiator or the reservoir tank...it looks to be coming from the front of the engine and the trail of the leak looks to be going behind the air pump up to the front part of the engine and the i cant see nothing from there. any guess or hear of any similar problems?

could be a a lot of things. if u can get your hands on a pressure tester that will pinpoint the leak. if you can't, try filling the coolant again and let it idle. grab a inspection mirror and start backtracking the trail if leak, it should be very easy to find the leak since u stated it's leaking pretty badly.

my guesses would be the lower intake manifold in the valley/corner of the valley and head, or underneath of the water inlet for the lower intake manifold. I have had a lot of trouble with those two spots in the past.

Its weird because it seems to be intermittent. its not for the thermostat housing. i just replace the gasket to it and no leaks. it was leaking from there originally. now its a new spot.

if you have the extra funds run the parts store and get a uv light and the die for coolant that stuff works so nice for finding any coolant leak.

that could be one spot another spot where mine leaked was the heat hose pipe that screws into the intake on the passenger side up front I had that leak once also.

Was the path of the leak towards the front of the motor and down towards the passenger side?
