I dont know that much about them. But windsor will be cheaper to build. As for cleveland, i think they only made them for a few years so parts cost a lot more. but im thinking that with the after market parts being every where for the windsor that you should be able to build some thing that would leave a cleavland in the dust.
I think cleveland are know for there big cylinder heads and flowing alot. so back in the day cleveland would have been the best....but today i dont think it matters... like i said i dont know alot about them so dont take every thing i said as being 100% true. Id wait for fogged306 to chime in, he knows alot about a lot of things... lol

Cleveland's are killer engines but aftermarket parts are getting hard to come buy they take there own oil pan and intakes and exhaust. Really in the end while I like the 351C the 351W is just a better now 30 years ago and I would say 351C. The 351W just makes more sense in a fox I have a friend that ran a 351C for years and has 351c parts stacked to the roof but he runs a stroked 351w in his car.

Windsor all the way, way more parts available, don't know shit about clevelands, I have a 1969 351 block bored out, with lots of goodies motor runs strong!!!! I put roughly 7,000 to 9,000 on it a year it's got about 400hp and I redline the engine at 7,200 granted the guy that built the motor really knows his shit, but I love it and if you decide to go bigger it's gonna hold the power, a Cleveland may to idk.

Stock for stock, the cleveland was a better engine. Smaller mains, bigger heads. Nothing windsor ever made would compare to a good 4v cleveland head. That being said, cleveland parts aren't cheap, and they had oiling issues. The ideal engine IMO is a clevor, windsor block (aftermarket windsor block with cleveland mains if you've got the cash) and cleveland heads intake. The canted valve design of a cleveland head is better than the inline design of a windsor.... Thanks for the compliment ryan, but in the grand scheme of things, I really don't know shit, lol.
