A.d performance built my 331 stroker.

there alll over the place, where ever you can buy a 347 kit you can also buy a 331 kit

I was told a 331 is more reliable than a 347 to be honest I don't know just going off of what I've been told

my understanding was the original 347 put the conecting rod pin up into the rings causing a lot of oil to burn, but in most cases that problem has been fixed.

so far ive been happy with my 331. but no matter what stroker kit you go with, do not cheap out on the heads, you need to run a good intake and heads to get the full power out of them, . my point is....dont go putting gt40 heads on a stroker.

Yes. A letter cam is worthless in a 302. Add displacement and it's really worthless.

Look at the Anderson Ford cam series...or just call FlowTech Induction and he'll make you a cam to match your combo...I did for my road race carbed 331...price? About 10% more than a comps cam.

another question a friend is trying to talk me into a 306 long rod motor he says it will be alot cheaper to build this rather than a 331 or 347 i know you dont get even close to the power from the 306 but i was told they are good motors any thoughts on this

whats a 306 long rod motor ?????

cuz a 306 is just a 302 bored .30 over ,making the cubic inches bigger by 4 cubic inches. its the same rod and stroke thats in any 302 engine

I guess you use a 5.400 rod and shorter pistons instead of the 5.009 stock rods that's what I was told
