minor throttle response issue
so this is my first 5.0 and im not sure how quick the throttle response is supposed to be but theres about a half to three quarters of a second before the engine starts revving... question...is that just normal? and is there any way to speed that up?

Thats sounds slow. maybe adjust timeing or air to fuel ratio. also could be a bad plug

nah, if it was an air fuel mixture prob. then u would most likely hav a vaccum leak causing a lean or rich mixture at the o2 sensor.
is it an automatic or a manual, manual usually respond a whole lot faster than automatics depending on wht gear ur n. but check ur linkage under the throttle body, it could be binding or somethin, might wanna check plugs and re gap the also
