Good buy?

1985 Mustang Coupe for sale
I went and looked at it, there was a little rust on the pillars where it meets the roof (not cracked), There was a couple pin holes in the floors but looked pretty solid for the most part. Interior was pretty much stripped except for the stock dash and door panels. I was thinking of giving him 3k and a brand new aeremotive fuel pump and filter and brand new taylor battery box that he wanted as well. Also are those tires street legal being how wide they are?

Well a little rust is repairable, but if it has tons of rust and the pillars are beyond repair I wouldnt go for it. Just my 2 cents.

Are you looking to make a drag monster? That is the only reason I might consider that car. I have seen rollers around that price on corral with more done that seemed nicer. The deals are out there!

There is a windshield in it now, but no windows. He said he had the little back ones though. The thing that gets me is he said he's never got it running, he's only had it close to running.
