Convertible vs non-convertible

Hey guys, had a quick question. I have a 87 mustang convertible and a couple weeks ago some kids in the neighborhood went around with bb guns and shot out my passenger side door window.. So I was wondering if a window out of a hatch/notch car will work? or do I need to find glass out of a convertible?

yes it should fit perfect there all the same doors and windows. convertible just don't have the window support as a hatch/notch.
