ram clutch review

For all those who are looking for a good replacement clutch the The Ram stage 3 its a good and cheap replacement around $250-$299. RAM Automotive 98794 - RAM Powergrip Clutch Kits - Overview - SummitRacing.com

Not that expensive but held up really good.

What it went thru was a 2 year straight beaten......

5 track days minimum of 3 runs each time all hard launches.
auto crossed 3 times.
1 local drift event "just for fun"
about 20 street races
Drove to the florida once and back.
And a daily driver. Which i drive hard every day.

Also the clutch is not completly gone, Its just slipping when put in to heavy duity load car is still 100% drivable Clutch is just starting to slip a bit which means time to upgrade. Granted if i didnt put it thru so much stress it would of help up alot longer but for what i did in a 2 year span i have to admit i am impressed. The tranny i have is a tremic t56 and works perfectly with stock gears right now. I highly recommend this clutch. Next in is a Spec Stage 3 clutch with there light weight flywheel havent herd much good things about it but i got them both for a good price.

I love my spec stage 3+. The reason inwent with the 3+ over the 3 is because its a full disc. Awesome clutch. Holds 680 ft lbs of trq. And really nice on the street

Hey gripthenboost , I can't remember but was it you that had another red fox body and ere getting pulled over all the time in it because of the previous owners actions in that car. What ever happened, I know there were talks of changing the hood and repainting it. Didn't that thing have a tubular k member and a supercharger ?

Yep still got it, I bent a push rod thou. They were the wrong size so i took the correct measurements and sent out for a set. I just did a full overhaul on the topend of the motor its going to be up for sale next year after i can put it on the track and see what it runs. hope fully its in the 11's with 15psi on slicks.
