Please help.!

Can somebody plz tell me what this noise my car is making. I then checked the rockers and the push rods. I started the car and one pipe is smoking while the other isn't. It's cold outside so I would expect them both to smoke or neither at all. check out this youtube link it shows my car and the noise its making.!

I just checked the oil dipstick nothing but oil on it and as far as the gauges state it reads its around the middle... and it runs great i just started hearing this sound i was driving around the other day and all of a sudden it started ticking away it didnt sound like this video at first. but during that time it still drove the same power was there on demand and all didnt show no hesitation when i gave it alittle gas but the ticking would get louder. and now i just encounter this problem about two hours ago so didnt even want to pull it out to see how it would drive but it still sounded the same despite the noise.

ok here is something you can do take a long screw driver and start the car and put the metal end of the screw driver to the valve cover and top of the head by the intake and stick the other end into your ear so you can listen for that noise you should be able to find which side and about where the noise is really coming from

ok i'll do.. and if this helps i went out there this morning at 50 something degrees out side and started her up and she ran no problem. let her get up to normal temperature and still no problem so i then gave her a couple of revs because im still working on getting my idle right and there she goes started ticking away with the rpms

she showed no lost of power because i put my foot on the brake to see if the tires would spin and they did but i ain't do it until smoke started because i didn't want to over to it and something else goes wrong. but i mean just the simple fast that its still able to spin the tires is a good thing i believe.?

I am almost thinking that it is either a weak or collopsed lifter could you do another video but this time when its ticking rev it a few times so we can hear the ticking pattern

it really sounds like it coming from the drivers side I would pull that valve cover and do the screw driver idea but this time do it at idle and listen to each one and you will find the one that is ticking u will have some oil leaking but shouldnt be to bad at idle I usally get a damp towel and put it over the header right up to the bottom of the head to catch any oil that spills out

with roller rockers you dont have to replace them all just the ones that are bad and if you keep running you risk the chance of exploding the lifter, cracking the lifter, bend a push rod, possible bend a valve
