My neighbor has a t56 he said he would sell to me but the bitch needs to be rebuilt and i dont fuck with trannys cause i dont know enough about them. Anyways what would you guys say is a good price to pay for gettin one rebuilt.

I was thinking the same thing. This will give you an idea of parts costs. But since you will probably be taking it to a shop, the labor and extra parts they are going to tell you that you need and really don't is whats going to cost you.

A new t56 with driveshaft will cost you about 28-2900, so 2000 would be a deal as long as it is rebuilt right.

$2900 how much is a brand new t-56 why not just spend a little more and just get a brand new one

It is your choice. I don't think $900 is a "little" more though, that is almost 30% more. I guess it depends on any type of warranty of support if any that each would come with as well.
