95 Cobra, Stock Engine with 28,000 Miles...Need Upgrade Advice!

Ok, So i just bought my 2nd Mustang...My first was a 94' GT (Wrecked it in high school...Silly kids!)....10 years later I finally got my dream car...1995 Cobra..

The car has been owned by a 59 yr. old who only drove it on the weekends...this car is a gem....28k original miles

Here is a list of what has been done to it so far:

* 3.73 gears with eaton posi unit
* maximum motorsport frame tie connectors
* maximum motorsport lowering kit with coil over set up
* tokiko double adjust shocks
* 8.8 differential girdle
* maximum motorsport upper and lower control arms and front and rear sway bars
* steeda caster camber plates
* upgraded t-5 transmission
* clear side marker lights
* ford shorty headers
* urethane bushings
* cold air package with upgraded MAF
* Gibson 3" cat back system
* king cobra clutch
* slotted brake rotors with upgraded brake package
* Cobra R wheels
* Nitto drag radials
* short throw B&M shifter
* Ford Motorsport plug wires
* upgraded headlights
* 4" cowl hood

I have about $6,000 saved up for future mods....I just dont know what I want to do. I do know I want a Turbo system...but thats really about it....

I need some advice on what I can do to add some hp and what I can add under the hood...

Please remember...I'm 28 yrs. old and NOT looking for a drag car...I just want something nice that will last me forever...But want the power at my fingertips for those "feelin' froggy" days!!!

Any advice is welcomed!

Throw a set if heads on it. Trickflows top end kit will put you around 300-310 depending on the kit which includes heads, cam, upper and lower intake. And that will put you in great shape for when you are ready to throw some boost at it. May want to think about doing some work on that bottom end also as it isn't forged.

hyper pistons and the gt40 heads will take you to the limits of the stock block and be fine as long as you get a proper tune. no need to upgrade either unless you plan on changing blocks.

get some bigger injectors and a bigger pump, add that turbo, an aluminum drive shaft, and drop down to 3:55 gears, and a custom cam, or atleast a different than stock cam (something to compliment the turbo), a different intake would also be a good upgrade.

if i were gona build a turbo car i would try and focus on some low end rpm power since that turbo will carry you thru the higher rpms

No, I'm not. I frequent the Deadhorse crew, but I know a lot of the OMC guys.
