1994 indy 500 pace car cobra.
i'm 16 and this is my third mustangs, first v8. my uncle sold it to me for 10k and its got 74k miles on it...its one of 1000 made, one of 600 registered, and one of 50 actually used in the indy 500 to introduce the drivers, should i leave it stock or modify it?? the reason im asking is because this car will only escilate in value, so will it hurt that if i do minor mods like full exaust and gear and intake, maybe a few more things down the road? My uncle recently removed the decals to repaint it the factory red that they all came in and replaced the convertible top becuase i had a slight tear. he also put 9.5in. front and 10.5 in rear chrome 17in bullitt's wrapped in nitto nt555's. just tell me what you guys think...mod or not?

If you do mod it, make sure you can put it back to factory when you go to sell it. Keep every part you take off!

as much as i hate to see cars just put up for show and as much as i hate to not build on them and stuff...keep it stock!! then restore it and sell it to one of those old nostalgic guys and then get yourself an old notch and go to town on it...

i was thinkin about building it but not change the look at all. i really dont plan on selling it. i know im only 16 but i know the value of this car...i'd like to keep it as long as i can even when i do get a new car. and if i build it i'll deffinatly keep the stock parts so i can return it to stock if i do decide to sell it in the future. but i dont know where to find parts for it because its not like other 94 svt's, all the others ive seen say 150 on the speedo, this one says 160, so that must mean theres somethin different about the engine. opinions?

it says 160 because it's a Cobra not a GT.
(you should change your sig so ppl know you also have a Cobra man)

Look its only a car there meant to be enjoyed ya I could put my Shelby up never drive it and hope its worth a lot down the rode. but if the car was never enjoyed whats the point of it. Most of the pace cars dont Go up to much so I just say have fun with it and You can always return it to stock.
