Quarter horse / BE users need some help


Im going back to all motor, Is there a way on binary editor to bring the ecu back to a factory a9l tune?

But i think my a9l bin is setup for 42lb jectors and boost...


Im selling the turbo setup to my friend who runnig 302 w c4 drag setup
I miss the throttle response and consistency of na. It will be better for road racing

You can re-download a stock A9L def file if you saved over your original.. Check moates.net, or search on EECtuning.org, or just google for one. I know I've seen them available all over the place, just can't remember where off the top of my head.

No, you need the transfer curve for it and just input it into BE. No need to have a MAF that matches your injector size when you have a quarterhorse.

with your top end kit, dont you think you should run 24lb injectors ?

Damnit. Idk. I made 213 rwhp with bolt ons. Whatd u think im up to at the wheels with a track heat intake and pro comp 190 heads?

I have no clue what your HP is. But i figure stock engine = stock fuel injectors. And after market heads and intake was a good time to bump up to the next size injectors witch would be 24lb. You may be fine with the stock 19, but i dont think 24 will hurt you either

Different for every engine. 12.5 is a good starting point.. First get your LAMBSE's to match your wideband readings by adjusting your MAF curve, then check your duty cycle on the injectors and see if you've got enough. You probably won't tho with those heads and 19's. Even though they aren't great quality heads, they are more capable than stock heads.
