KenneBell 1.8 tips?
Before I get blasted for it, I KNOW THE KB IS NOT THE POPULAR CHOICE FOR A FOX! Ok, backstory... Stock 1990 GT with 70k on the odo. It is my DD and for the next few years will not see a track. Got a line on a KB that I decided not to pass up, it's the 1.8 which is fine for me. On to the tech, what is the recommended gaskets to use prior to mating to the lower as well as between the throttle body and the SC? What is the general consensu on fuel, 42lbs (big but room to grow), 255 LPH pump, and the matching MAF meter? The blower is going to come with the KB Fmu, but I havent found much supporting that setup. Lastly, regular plugs 1 step cooler gapped to 30?
Any tips tricks or guidelines you guys with some experience have for me? |

That's what I was thinking, is 42 too large? I want to go big now so I don't have to do it again later once I start building the block. Any suggestions on the gaskets?

42 should be fine . the tuner will program those size injectors/fuel curve into the cars computer. Just make sure its tuned before you drive the car.....you dont want to blow some thing up

take the lower intake off and port it to get a really nice added hit in power - I have a how-to in the Tech Doc section here: EECTuning.org • Index page

I'm not looking for anything out of the blocks capability, honestl I think it will just be the KB for the foreseeable future. As it stands I have too many mouths to feed (toys not kids) so it will be atleast a year or so till I crack back into the cars guts. Why do you ask abou e85?
