T-stat Housing

I have a 351W based Professional Products Huricane intake in my 95 gt and was wondering if any has had any issue with t-stat housing lining up this manifold? I have a leak around the water hose as they are not mating correctly.

Use RTV instead of a gasket.

Yeah if you don't get it completely cleaned off the gasket will never seal right, but like was said use rtv.

It wont blow out right? I can feel with my finger that the water outlets dont line up. The T-stat housing its seems to be a little larger than the manifold.

Depends on how large the gap is, but chances are, no it won't blow out. I actually filled in my entire bypass inlet on the housing with RTV and it hasn't blown out yet after about 1000 miles of driving. I don't run a heater so it was a cheap fix until I get another housing, and it works, so I doubt a small gap is going to give you a problem if you apply it correctly and let it cure.
