If you can find a 69-74 block thats what I would use... I still managed to crack one, but they are the strongest out there from the factory. You will have to do retro fit roller lifters though to use a roller cam.

Tmoss, do you know the casting for that by chance? I'll have to search around for it an sell the one I have. Thought I was able to use the one I had.

Sorry, not off hand. The lowers sell on ebay but they are not cheap (~$300) - but worth for the application you'll use it on.

Found one on ebay, an already messaged the guy to shoot me an email with the casting number. Did some searching, this is the casting I found. F3TE-9K461-EA

Whats your budget for a block? Why not look around a little bit(possibly on the corral) for a used dart block.

ive seen one or two that were new, but the person lost intrest or they ran out of money. ive seen them 300-400 dollars cheaper and some times have already had the final machinng done, which is another 200-300 dollar saving. as long as it was machine right, its a savings ...lol

While I do agree, it is hard to have it shipped... if you can find it local yes, but if you have to ship it, it costs more as an individual than a business and so there some of the cost goes away.

But yes I have been trying to find a used one (well new but delievered haha) and I am picky and havent found much yet.
