Need help!! Starter problems

So a few days ago my car wouldn't start. It would sometimes start and sometimes not. Then it just stopped starting at all. When I turned the key over it just made this click sound. So my first thought was the starter solenoid. So I replaced that and it still does the same thing, just a click sound. And I even tried connecting the starter Solenoid with a screwdriver to get it started and it does not do anything, no spark or anything. I'm stumped where to go next. Thanks

battery?
Follow the wiring and check the itegrity of the wires and circuts.

Also pull the dipstick and check the texture of the oil for metal(rub it between your fingers, look close at it with different light).

But my car will push start just fine. I'm going to take the starter in later today and get it tested

Most likely a dead spot in the starter. Take a hammer and give the starter motor a few whacks while someone cranks it with the key and see if it fires up.

Test the battery and alternator. And check all your grounds
