on3 turbo install
WOOOO I finally convinced myself to get it.
i have a facebook album of the contents in this album. The only thing I don't like is I was under the impression that the kit came with step by step instructions, or even an inventory sheet. All I got was a CD with a "Tips guide" and a sort of quick reference install guide with pics of how everything should line up. Now its enough to gimme the jist of how to do it, but im straight n00b diy amateur here hoping I can pull this off. just thought id ask for any tips from the guys running on3 about any common issues or problems they ran into. or suggestions or anything that i could screw up. and one question too, in the tips guide it suggests a really close gap of like .028. it says thats with stock ignition. i have msd 6a and the ford tfi blaster coilpack, can i go wider? or is it fine at .028? thx

While installing your kit let me know if you have any clearance issues.

ok i did a short inventory and noticed a few things. did your kits come with vacuum hoses, tees, and zip ties, and instructions? I feel like when they mention "includes all hardware for all components" and "complete instructions" that this should be included. I got a cd with a 5 page tips guide that briefly goes over the install and a 5page picture guide with how things line up.
also, my wastegate came with 3 flanges? and 2 threaded holes for boost/vacuum lines. in a picture i see the only one used is the one on the side of the wastegate, but what is the one on top for? and the extra flange? finally, it says in the "directions" that there should be a 90 degree wastegate dump pipe. but mine is straight. i cant imagine why this would cause a problem, but it makes me wonder what else may be mixed up.
