87 fox dyno results ?


My car just made 281hp & 291tq at 5k something is stopping it from going past that and dyno guy said its a ignition problem and my cam peaks at 6600rpm so after I get it fixed what could my rwhp be ?

That's going to be real tough to say without knowing any mods. Unless you have some real good heads, and intake, it won't make power at 6600 RPMs.

306; 24lb injectors 73 c&l maf 190fp 238/238 .550 112 lsa 4.10 gear longtube headers track heat intake 1inch spacer and Windsor jr heads port and polish

are you running an adjustable fuel pressure regulator? if not that would be the first thing i would address. also are you running a hotter coil then stock? if not you need to get one asap. i would check your plugs too while you are at it. my ford racing book says that the 24# injectors are good to 326hp n/a at 85% duty cycle, and your fuel pump is rated at providing 540 n/a hp to the flywheel so you should be good there.

at that point its gona be the little things that get you past. like what plug wires, wt coil, what size rockers and if they are rollers.. the list goes on and on

I have 1.6 comp roller rockers and I have the coil that came with my crane hi6s box

Thats my dyno result it couldnt go past 5k it kept backfiring..

What is the condition of the springs and are they the right ones for your cam? Also, go back to the stock ignition coil and remove the Crane box and compare.

Think about 30-36# injectors and check the timing.
