87 5.0 runs warm not cold?

This 87 mustang 5.0, got a rebuilt bored .30 over racing everything in the engine. Here's the problem, it'll only start when warm, i mean it'll start when it's cold if the throttles half way open but it'll just die. Ya have to start it 2 or 3 times to get it to warm up, when it's warm it's fine, he's replaced every F'ing sensor, he thinks it's the cam, the motor was rebuilt 2 years ago and has almost never been used due to this problem.

My 95 gt is doing the same. My fuel pressure is running about 28-30psi. What should it be? And how do u adjust it?

Didnt mean to hijack ur thread just having same exact issue and didnt want to start another thread on it.

with the vacuum line pulled off the fuel pressure regulator it should be some where a round 39 psi. put make sure you plug the vaccum line that went to fuel pressure reg.

if you have the stock reg, as far as i know they cant be ajusted, you would need to buy an after marke ajustable one

My mustang did this, and it turned out we forgot about the act sensor when we did the rebuild. The gt40 intake doesnt have a spot for it on there so its just sittin in the valley for now until i decide if i want to do anything with it

It's cool man, turns out the timing is off on this motor too, it's definitely almost a brand new motor, it's 2 years old but it looks brand new sounds smooth when it runs fine but the timing is off also, it revs up and down a little, it seems the idle is too high and at random times it just looses rpm's then goes back up, sometimes it stalls out. Some times as in every couple minutes if you leave it running, but when your driving it won't stall.
