I feel like I wish I had my accufab back.. Had a 75MM that was smooth as butter. Now I have a Holley 95MM and it's nowhere near as smooth, actually makes the car tough to drive. Between the Holley, accufab, and stock TB's I've used, I'd take an accufab any day of the week.

i hear accufab is really good. i was actually gonna order a BBK 70mm TB because it's a lot cheaper than a accufab. i read some of the people's reviews on the BBK and they say the TB cable squeaks over time. you guys think it's worth shelling another hundred for a accufab?

Do some research first. I think the throttle linkage is different, and I'm wondering if the tps sensor is the same.

It's going to suck to buy some thinging that you might not be able to use. Maybe some one else can chime in that knows for sure

Probably from the throttle response of the larger blade area. If you depress the throttle, the same 10% for each, more air will come in on the larger throttle body because the increased area. This can make cars touchy to drive.

95mm TB - 10.9" of area
75mm TB - 6.8" of area

95mm tb is not 10.9 INCHS, dunno what your talking about.

while true, it is due to more air coming in faster for the same throttle, this can be tuned.

could always rig up a larger braket for the throttle cable or something so the same pedal movement means less throttle body opening up.

No it's not that, it has severe vacuum lock. The throttle blade actually sticks closed while the car is running and you have to apply quite a bit of pressure to get it to open. Then once it's open, it flings itself to more than quarter throttle because of all the pressure you're applying to the pedal in the first place. I will say it is worse because of the larger area of the blade and that magnifies the issue when the blade swings open, but I could easily get used to the touchiness of the TB if I could actuate the blade smoothly. Been back and forth with Holley about this for months now and now I have to send it back to them. I think it's just a poor design and the bearings on the blade bind up when the blade sees vacuum behind it.
