10 min. tune up question

I've read about the 10 min. tune up from a number of sources. My question involves bumping the timing to 14 degrees (as much as 16 deg. according to some). My car has a T5 and is mostly stock save for 373s, a cold air , a Cobra Maf sensor and dumped Flowmasters. It's my daily driver not a race car except for a few street romps with yuppy ass-clowns in beemers etc, etc. Is the timing mod worth it for a street car? Will I feel any hp gains in the seat of my pants? Exactly how much power is this worth if any? I have no problem at all paying for premium gas.

I think I might have picked up maybe a 0.1 in the 1/4 bumping the timing, even if you picked up 0.2 or 0.3 which is unlikely... You aren't feeling that with your but dyno.

My LX is a d/d,and i bumped mine to 14*also.There was definatly a good sotp difference.2 problems are that you'll need to run 89 and up octane gas, higher octane burns slower, and resists detonation. If you dont mind paying a little more at the pump go for it.

i bumped mine to 13* with 91 gas but i probably can go 14* no problem. i think if u have 93 gas u can do 16* from what i read. i wish cali had higher octane gas. the feel of 3 to 4 degree is very very minimal.
