I need to update this post because after this t&t outing (where I lost mph significantly from my norm) I realized my front tires were lower on air than I wanted them to be. One was as much as -12psi... I had forgot to bring my larger scale press. gauge and only brought my slicks gauge thinking it would be fine...
needless to say this is NOT safe and I will not make the mistake again. After I aired up the fronts i found more than 5 mph with no other adjustments made. Im a 135-138 mph consistently and couldnt figure out what was wrong on the test passes I made this day. keep a close eye on all 4 tire pressures all the time... |
