H pipe with cut outs

I have what seems to be a mac 3" race h pipe with dual cut outs not to far from the connections to the manifold. With the cut outs open will i see a difference in performance, or just loud as hell i had it for a while but never put it on. Im thinking about giving it a try and using 2 electronic cut outs.

What's your combo, what headers, and what does the rest of your exhaust consist of? .. and how far back from the collector are the cut-outs?

Unless your car is heavily modified, you won't see a whole lot of difference either way besides the sound. The 3 inch pipes are plenty to let the engine exhale.

AFR heads long tube headers. Its a 306 block with vortech v1 and cobra upper and lower. The dumps are about 3"s from the collector.
