it'll work but your better off with a trade.

I have a 350 for sale

I'm joking... it's really for sale but why would you want a Chebby motor in your stang?

( yes I know it's a popular swap MM guys)

You would have to get a 4.6 k-member. Its not uncommon to put a 4.6 in a fox these days. You can even get a carb manifold for them to get around all that computer stuff.

why would you wanna do that tho with the prices of upgrades for the 4.6 when you could get a 5.0 and upgrade that for a lot cheaper....

It is basically a non supercharged cobra motor but not a 03-04 motor. It doesn't even put out as much power as a non supercharged dohc cobra. Don't get me wrong at 280 hp it is no slouch, but yeah if you want to change the heads and throw some forged internals into it then you might can say it is basically a non-supercharged terminator. You will need a 4.6 k-member because the 4.6 won't mount to a 5.0 k-member. As far as the 96 4.6 out of the town car, it is rated at 210 hp I believe. Hardly worth transplanting. Now the motor out of a stick Mach I has a cobra crank and puts out 305 hp. That would be the lowest powered 4.6 that I would think about transplanting. The auto doesn't have a forged crank.

Also, I am not certain, but pretty sure the tranny from a front wheel drive car won't fit in a fox body. You will need a 4.6 tranny from a mustang. I was just kidding, I really know it won't fit. It is way too short!! Also, what year Lincoln Mark VIII had front wheel drive?? Never mind, I am pretty sure you were talking about two different cars. I am just falling asleep.

No problem, you will need the fuel system, the engine, the k-member, the tranny, prolly the driveshaft, the ecm, and the wiring harness. Sounds like it might take more than a day or two.
