build on a budget help
I wanna start modding my motor but dont know where to start. i dont have much to spend so price is a factor.
my current setup is stock 5.0 from a 88, cold air intake, ac delete, electric fan, world class t-5, hurst short throw shifter, full exhaust im sort of wanting to do something to the engine. gt40 heads, cam, or some other thing but like i said i dont know where to start with my budget |

Maybe find an upper and lower intake used?
Throttle bodies? Better plug wires? Sounds like you have the basic boltons out of the way. I would suggest a nice set of gears, not sure your budget but that would be your next bang for the buck.

Throttle bodys are pointless with stock intake and heads.
I'd do the hci. But if you only have money to buy one thing then I'd say tf heads . Forget about gt40 heads that's just a mild hp increase. And by the time you buy them and have them gone through you could have almost had enough money for the trick flow heads. I'd do the intake after that. If you did the intake first you wouldn't see to much power from that do to the fact the the stock cylinder heads are more restrictive then the stock intake

For a budget you could get some of the following
Cobra intakes GT40 intakes Gt40p heads, like said by Ryan you wont see much gains, but they are cheap Then a cam. That is a good start I would think. Would be mild yet very streetable.
