yeah im with that guy^^^^...i have an 1984 ranger w/ cam, heads, headers and bout 325hp and i cant hook up for sh*t, it just wants to light em up all day ..but seriouly im looking into battery relocation over rear, fuel cell in bed over rear, ladder bars and some other stuff...and yes deffinatly go w/ trick flow, i had em on mine and i like em so much better than my performer RPM aluminum heads, im probably switching back..

Yes, if you go with a set of trickflow heads go with some 1.6 roller rockers. I think the B cam might be a little small for a set of TW heads. Out of the box they flow like 252 on the intake side and the B cam is a pretty small cam. I would stay away from the alphabet cams and go with a nice comp cam or maybe a TFS stage 1 cam that is designed to work with the TFS TW heads.

yeah my ranger has an F303 cam, but im going to be switching it to a comp extreme energy cam w/ about .545" lift, and about .300 duration..i think f303 is to small, not working great w/ my Gt40 heads right now, worked a little better w/ rpm's, but worked awesome w/ the twisted wedges, and im also running new stock ratio rockers, but already ordered harland sharp 1.7's..cant wait..hows your ranger sounds? fast?

just a question freddy, why'd u go w/ the torker 2, the rpm range is so high on those, that just driving on the street, the intake is useless, unless you have a case of lead foot everyday.....but i have the performer rpm air gap on my ranger and it works plenty fine, has pwr on those lead foot days, but not so useless on normal driving times...just my 2 cents...

*L* @ some of these ideas....dude first you need to get your traction set....I'd add some 3.73's in the rear...put on some 275/50/15's
move the battery over the right rear or just buy a bat battery and leave in stock place.....anything you can do to lighten up the front will help....when you slammed truck you made matters worse with stiffer front springs..adding some drag shocks and a different front spring rate will help a ton something like a 70/30 or 80/20 front shok or if you have the funds go with a coil-over set up..adding anymore horsepower will make it worse

instead of twisted wedges, i'd get some 373s, iron gt40s and a 150 shot of juice . ( my buddy has a ranger with a stock 5.0 small cam, 373s and nitrous and he's running deep into the 11s on used dirt track tires ) twisted wedges with such a small carb and stock gears won't make much difference, now if you had a vr jr intake bigger cam and carb and some 410s then the heads would really shine
