How is it that you're running 12.8 @ 109 with the mods you have listed? With that much power you should hit 11.4-11.5 at least...

Technically the hatch back is winning...25 gt + 14 cobra + 25 lx = 64 hatch backs

Notch = 49

Were still winning by 15

This boggles my mind. Let me re-word the OP's question.
Pretend its the spring of 1993 and you walk into a Ford dealer.
On the showroom floor sits a Cobra, a GT, an LX, and a 5.0 notch. They all have very similar options and they're all the same color.
The salesman says "today only they're all the same price just pick your favorite and I'll write it up!"
Now who is going to pick the LX or the GT over the Cobra? Crazy people maybe?
I can see for those who love the notch they would want that but come on guys?

(this is all in good fun)

Id pick the cobra.

My dad almost bought one i think it was in 1994 or 1995 but there was still one on the show room floor, it was orange with the black 3 spoked wheels, im not sure if it was a special one or not cuz i see cobras with the wind mill looking wheel. But because it was a cobra they wouldnt budge on the price and with zero down the payments would have been like 700-800 a month so he passed on it.

But some of the things you guys like about the car, are thing i didnt like, although it had more power with 4 wheel disk brakes ect... ect... i didnt like the fact that it was striped down.

No back seat, stereo, fog lights,a/c ect...

So let me get this right, you want me to pay more for a car that has less stuff, and only had about 30 more hp then the gt. If i spent the same money on the gt id end up with more then 30 hp.... naw im good
Thats what i was thinking at the time

Hell, just a few years ago, notches were almost giveaways.... Now everyone wants one! I'm keeping my options open to adding one to the family. The wife didn't exactly say no, hahahaha. There's a sweet flawless 4 banger near me, but he still wants 2700, and I just can't do that for half a motor.

I wouldnt mind picking one up my self, theres a rolling body on cl for 1100 but then i saw another one for 2200 that runs, but its an auto, but i dont have the room or cash for it, plus it would take funds away from my 91. So it wasnt ment to be at this time.

Id also like to pick up a 67 or 68 coupe,......no emission

Yeah, If I picked up a notch right now and it was a project, it would just sit like the Vert does. Money HAS to continue to go into my 91 right now. Not meant to be for me either..... hahaha

FYI the car your talking about was the 93 Cobra R and today its worth twice the sticker price if mint. They only made 100 of them and its very surprising a dealer had one still in 1994. I thought they were spoken for before they even were shipped? The normal Cobra. (4993 built) had all options available except cruise control.
