Four eye conversion

I didnt know where to post this so............. I have a 1992 mustang lx 2.3l. I am wanting to swap my front end with one from a four eye mustang. I live in Salem Oregon and of there is anyone that has a four eye mustang that wouls want to swap front ends, I would be happy to help woth that

ive wanted to do a capri swap for a while myself. If i went with 4 eye I would have to just go all the way.

I have been wanting to do this for awhile now. I tried posting on my local craigslist but never found anyone. I thoughjt I would since alot of people want to swap noses to my style ..... Never really the other way around. I will also need to change the moldings and the rear bumper so it will all match up. I would also love to swap the quarter windows. So basically, I want to convert mine to a four eye. I know people will say why not just buy a four eye? I really dont like the interior of the four eyes and I think it will be easier to swap body pieces then having to swap interior, escpecially the dash. So if anyone knows someone in my area that has a four eye and would want to help with this transformation, please let me know.

you should keep the 92 quarter windows other wise the interior quarters i dont belive will line up right, i think there will be a gap. Or maybe thats the other way around, i cant remember. i think some one said that when the put in the 87-93 quarter glass into the 86 and older there was some thing that wasnt right.

if i were you just swap out the front and rear bumper covers, lights , hood ,molding, tail lights, and the light bulb sockets, and leave the rest looking 1992

Yeah thats what I heard about the interior. Some people also said that you can just trim those pieces and make it work. I posted about the quarter windows before and someone posted pics of a four eye with aero quarters and the window mouldings didnt line up. I read somewhere online that if you do swap four eye quarters on your aero fox then to ise the doors off of the four eye so the windows will line up correctly. Dont know if there is any truth to that tho.

Save your self some work and leave the windows alone, just swap the body parts

Oh ya..... In my opinion the 85-86 is the best looking of all 4 eye stange

Good luck, you'll have to switch rear bumper covers , door and all moldings with a donor car to make it look right because they aren't the same ( they don't repop pre 87 moldings ). I don't like the 4 eye interior so I swapped in a newer interior into my 86 coupe which was a pain in the ass but totally worth it IMO.

If you where closer I have front bumper cover "all light's hardware etc.", fender extension's, quarter window's and trim from my 86 on the garage floor, looking for rear bumper cover. Love the 87 up exterior, and the 86 down interior.
