Need advice on coolant passage on the intake

Go easy on me, this is my first post on here

I have a 5.0 motor that has been desmogged and is running a Quarterhorse chip to compensate the "non factory" components. My tuner recommended that I block the coolant passage on my Trick Flow lower intake since I don't have any plumbing going to my Accufab EGR spacer. I have 2 questions: is this a good idea and if so what is the best and/or easiest way of doing that.

If you need more information about the motor let me know.

I'm sure he meant block the egr passage. If he meant coolant passage, FIRE HIM!

You can do anything as easy as cutting a piece of gasket material to fill in the hole on the intake gaskets, or any other method that you see fit.
