Tfs Track Heat V/C Clearance And Hood Clearance

I was basically almost done putting everything in my car web I noticed my tall Trick flow valve covers wouldn't clear the throttle body.
I ordered A 1" spacer and praying for good clearance.
I am using energy motor mounts and the motor does sit lower, so I was just wondering what experience you guys have had with tall valve covers and trick flow track heat intake. What spacer and valve covers are you running. Etc
Still running a stock hood hopefully lol

Track intake with standard short TF valve covers now, but when I was running the tall ones, I had to use a 1 inch spacer and oval out a hole in the throttle bracket so I could clock it a little so it wouldn't rub on the valve cover. Not sure if you can use the short ones with roller rockers on GT40 heads, but you can on TF heads with the raised valve cover rail.

That's what I was wondering. After your work to the throttle bracket, was there any issues?

Not a bit. I ovaled out the lower hole just a bit to allow me to tilt the bottom of the bracket towards the rear of the car. It gave me just enough room. Functioned as normal.

I'll let you know what happens. It seem like these valve covers are not meant for fuel injection :/...

The talls are very limited with what kind of intake you can run. When I put my 351 together, the heads will get stud girdles at that time so I will have to go talls, but I also will be running the Box-R intake that I have for it.
