Injector Questions
Hey guys, I'm upgrading my setup for a blower and need to run bigger injectors. I've been told 42's are good, but no one produces anymore. Should I just go for 47's? My options are to buy a used set of EV1 42# set or buy a new ford racing EV6 47# with a EV1 adaptor. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Not sure where you are looking but 42 LB injectors are all over the place.

Buy ford racing seemed to stop selling them. I'd like to stick to a well-known brand to not have issues in the future, but still not break the bank. Just read that 42# are good until 440hp in forced induction set-ups which is borderline where I'll be, so I think 47's are the way to go. No one offers a 47# in the EV1 style, so what do you think about these injectors, they seem to be a more than fair price.

Ford racing injectors are made by siemens deka. Those and bosch are the two main injector makers that you want to stick with. If you're getting a tune, go with the EV6 injectors. They're a superior design over an EV1 anyway and even if 47 is a bit much for your set-up, the tune will take care of it. I run EV6 60#ers on my N/A 408 and I tuned for them with a quarterhorse. As long as you use a tuner or have a chip burnt, you can even go with 60's if you want room to grow as long as they're EV6's.

Yeah I'm getting a custom tune with my blower. Got one more question. The EV1 injectors come with a plastic cap at the bottom of the injector, im assuming to help line up the injector in the intake. The EV6 injector has no cap, will this be a possible issue in fitment?

No issues with fitment. That pintle cap isn't needed on an ev6
