What Is This Sensor?

I'm cleaning up the engine bay a bit, and when I removed my upper intake, I found this sensor laying underneith. I'd love to know what it is and where it goes. I have a GT40 intake set-up.

It is your EGR Sensor that went to the EGR crap back there. That black thing sends a signal to trick the computer telling it that its still plugged in so you don't get CEL.

Ah that makes sense. I bought the car 6 months ago, so the only way to learn what everything is / has been done is to tear it down haha. So as long as I secure this sensor into the connector, I should be able to put it anywhere. Thanks for the help!

man ive been there. ive owned my stang for a few years now and i still find random "fixes" all over the place like that. if you ever get a tune though you can disable egr function and remove that black thing and still not throw a cel. not that you should get a tune jst for that. but if you happen to in the future ask your tuner. not sure about all chips but at least for the quarterhorse chip.

How do you like the on3 turbo kit? Im just trying to see as many opinions as possible about it, because my goal in the future is a power adder.

I like it. When it was running it was crazy fast. Just blew head gasket though
