So you think different heads cant give you slightly different power curves like anything else? But its cool im done on this thread. The OP's question was answered.

You can get more power out of head A than you can out of head B if head A has more flow in the lower lift numbers....but that's only if everything is matched accordingly. Normally, a gt40 head will flow more cfms in the .200-.300 area opposed to even a ported E7.

Seems to be a direct before and after test between E7 and GT40 heads although this was not a stock cam and not EFI which will skew the results.

thanks for ALL the comments... didnt mean to start so much crap! ive always been into gm's. this is my first mustang, so some things may sound dumb to some "experts"!!
the guy doing my machine work said after the e7's are ported they will "pretty much" flow as well as the gt40's! he was trying to save me a lil bit of $ for the time being becouse im going to go with a set of world product heads.... but thanks for all your advice

World heads? They can be ported to flow nicely...but stock they aren't great. The Jr.s OR the Sr.s. I suggest getting used aluminum heads because pretty much any aftermarket aluminum head is going to be as good or better than the World castings. Plus, it will knocked an easy 50 pounds off of your nose.
