1990 5-lug bront brake swap???

So I need to know what all Ill need for a 5-lug 13" front brake swap. I already bought 17x9 Bullit rims from American Muscle so they will have to clear those, Im keeping the rear 5-lug drum kit for now. I need suggestions on preferably a decent front brake kit, and the other components Ill need or should go ahead and buy.

The major piece to getting this done would be a set of newer style spindle, preferably 94-95. As far as the breaks go, we offer our SVE kit....

1994-04 Mustang SVE 13" Cobra Style Front Brake Kit at LRS - Same Day Shipping!

Piecing the kit together is getting harder by the day due to everyone buying up the parts or parts being discontinued.

This setup should clear the wheels you have with no issue.

So pretty much the only part you need besides the breaks themselfs is the spindles off a sn95? That would be awesome considering my brother has them of his 94 i could use. And i already have an 8.8 rear with 5 lugs im using for my 85. Thanks for the link to the breaks also.

I do believe there is companies who sell conversion kits for 87 to 93 mustangs. But i cant find any that sell them for 80-86 mustangs

Hmmm I guess maybe I got some wrong info then. Your posts title says a "1990 5-lug bront brake swap???" Are you working on a 1980?? Many companies aren't offering the kits any longer due to spindles not being available new. Also to tun the 13" brakes off of s new car you must have the newer style spindles.

Sorry about that, a little quick on the reply button this morning. The swap would pretty much be the same if you are going to use SN95 spindles. Sorry for the mix up.

We offer a 5% discount to forum members, as long as the part is not on sale, clearance or special. All you have to do is call in and give one of our sales guys your info and they can apply the discount to your order.

Buy from LRS. I've bought jsut about every damn part in my car from them.
Their kit comes with everything for the front brake conversion minus the spindles.
What offset bullitts did you get?
Assuming you got them in stock sn95 offset, keep stock rear track length and for the front use 94-95 spindles a state above.

The SVE kit is made just like the original Cobra/Bullit Kits were.
The offer the same function and performance. But also come with stainless lines for just a little more help, we have several guys here running them and they claim they feel the exact same vs. the cobra setup.

K, So what about rear brakes? What all would I need for that upgrade from 4 lug drums to 5-lug disks? I already have the Moser 31 spline 5-lug axels waiting to be put on. And what would be a good line lock kit once I get the rear brakes to disks?

Get the lines from maximum motorsports. That's what I did.
If your axles are stock fox track length, get the north race cars brackets.
LRS has those.
If its an sn95 track, just use the sn95 brackets.
Are you getting cobra calipers all around?
I used 98 gt calipers out back.
