Guesses and input?

What's up guys. I have the mods listed in my sig and I'm planning on upgrading a bit. Here's a little run down of my logic....

Stock bottom end 302
untouched gt40 heads
explorer intake
19# injectors
Anderson N41 cam
1 5/8 headers/ 2.5 inch exhaust
4:10 gears
2900lb race weight ----> 11.9 @ 109

Stock bottom end 302
untouched TFS170
Trickflow stage one cam
edelbrock Victor 5.0 efi intake
24# injectors
Same exhaust as above
3:73 gears
3000 lb race weight-----> 11.5 @ 115

Stock bottom end 302 W/ rod bolts and new rings
ported Edelbrock 5.0 performers (1.90/1.60) with a valvejob
port matched super-victor efi intake
custom HR cam
1 3/4 headers with full 3 inch exhaust
4:30 gears
2900lb race weight----> YOU GUESS ET AND TRAP

I want some input on what you think the last combo will run on motor, and a 200 shot. Assume traction is there and the air is good. I put the other combos there for a perspective on what parts do well.

dare to say low 11s But you have to pull of crazy 60 foot. Do you have a tranny setup in mind and plans to stiffen the body? I have way more into my motor and can barely muster into the 11s. My best time was 12.5xx @115 with street tires on my supercharged setup.

Low elevens WITH the 200 shot? And yeah, I'm getting a 6 point cage, full length custom weld in subframe connectors, V8 springs and 90/10 struts/shocks. Transmission is gonna be a Tremec 3550 with a clutch my Tranny Guy suggests. I'm hoping for 460rwhp on spray. I know dyno numbers don't matter, but I'm looking for decent numbers regardless.

How well are those heads going to be ported? Kind of seems like a lot of intake for performer heads. With the right cam, and slicks, it'll go 10s pretty easily.

Ya now that you add all that in i see can see 10s. Im interested in puttin on some slick and seeing what my car can really do. I baby it too much. Tremic t56 and spec 3 stage 3 clutch and a built rear should hold up to a 6k launch. If not i got AAA. LOL

The heads are going to be done right...I hate flow numbers but I wanna see something like 250cfms out of them. Even then, they flow good for a 302 spinning to 7K. I'm hoping lower tens like 10.50s or 10.40s.

These heads have the potential to flow 300cfms, just not with the 1.90/1.60 valves, which I'm keeping. I don't feel like getting new pistons. I might have to notch them for my cam anyway. I'm hoping for lower 400s on motor. 420-430hp the the flywheel would be nice.

I saw article on an excellent way to notch your pistons yourself. Let me see if I can find it.

Indeed, I've seen that once before. I would most likely just take the motor to a machine shop because I've never tried anything like that before, nevermind fucking with my bottom end.

Im with you on that one... it wouldnt be so bad if you had an old junk motor to play around on, and try new things, (first time attemps and such)but id wouldnt want to do that to an engine i was going to use.....lol

Anyone else have guesses for this combo? I'm gonna hit it with a 225 shot now. I'm really hoping for 11.40s-11.30s N/A and then add a 225 shot. Ultimate goal is to go 10.30s but the 225 shot MAY nudge it into the high 9s if I lighten her up some more.

Lol, I hear ya. That's why I laid out other basic combos before I wrote mine out so people can compare part to part.

I'd shit myself if you hit a 11.40 N/A. I don't see it. You'd be lucky as hell to hit a 11.80
That's my guess, sorry.
