From what I've read, they are fine until approx. 450-500 hp. Beyond that your pushing the limits of the stock block. You'd probably be fine running 5-8 psi. VM0824 just installed an on3 turbo on a stock short block with over 100k miles and he said it ran great until it blew a head gasket.

thats good to hear. i didnt think they would take that much so that puts about 350-370 to the wheels before things get expensive.
