Let's talk auto trans'

Looking to go to an auto trans, currently have a T5 in my 'race car' and would much prefer an Auto swap for racing.

Been thinking of a TCI Streetfighter C4 trans. Any other suggestions?

The car is a VERY basic '92 LX. Not much of a street car, well, it doesn't have to be.

PA makes some really good transmissions too. I pick them first, but that's just my opinion.

Just my own curiostity here. not meaning to bitch and nit-pick... howevwer I got a friendn ear me with a tranny shop that could do me up a pretty stout C4 (not talking 600+hp) for maybe 600-700 dollars. why are all these $1800+ for a MILD c4?

ive got two aod, both low miles. ill trade you both for your setup.

PA is the way to go. I got the Supercomp C4, and it's guaranteed to 1000 hp, and has a lifetime warranty. Mine was in another car and hit the wall. It pushed the input shaft through the transmission and they fixed it for free.

Both interesting and promising. Doing some homework on these guys.
