I'm pretty sure this BS comments about being a pussy and not launching did it for me. Again, see above video on stock rear.....not pussy launching, and the 60' is more in the 1.3 range.

Ewww, don't put a glide in that thing. Just do a built C4. They're more efficient because you wont have 700+ hp or a really low weight. C4 has more ratios and can be built to handle 1000hp.

Matter of fact I have seen posts on this website that back that statment up. Yes the 8.8 are strong for what they are.. but unless you have a suspension to prevent wheel hop on a slicky tire its only a matter of time before something snaps. I had bad wheel hop when i had my h&R ss springs on my car with a slick. I put a sticky tire on my car and i prolly got 10 good passes before the driver side axle snapped right at the carrier. I knew it was a matter of time before it broke.. so i upgraded to a cobra carrier and 31 spline moser axles.

For me to pull consistant 1.6 60ft on a stock car with h&r ss springs is pretty impressive if you ask me.

If you guys are rocking lower the 1.5 60ft on stock 28 spline axles your lucky.. I almost bet money you have a suspension to help keep that rear in line.

My opinion is if your car is stock and you have a sticky slick.. leaving high RPM it could break.. might not right away.. but its a matter of time..

Well of course wheel hopping is going to break stuff. What do you do, stay in the throttle through all the wheel hop???? Come on, use some sense here.

No, of course I let off.. Like I had said before it direct hooked and snaped. My car lifted and dropped back down and moves a whole 2 feet forward. It snapped on launch....
