Lifter Question

I just got the trick flow stage 1 cam installed, and have new lifters to go with it. I've been told that the lifters need to be soaked in fresh oil before installing them, is this really true? Haven't really been able to find much on this. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Eh, some people say you do, some say you don't. I've soaked them before, but I didn't soak the ones in this engine. I just put them in, and primed the system real well before the first fire.

Alrighty then! I'm gonna go with soaking them for awhile. Turns out I'm about done working for the night anyway! Thanks Fastback!

It definetly won't hurt to soak them, so go for it.

Nice edit
