Hmmm. When did you notice this?
Or has it done since you've had the car?

How much are you losing like quarts per mile?
My 91 has lost/burned about a quart every 1000 or so miles since I bought it new 20 years ago and it now has 160K. Props for being honest with the potential buyer but that amount would not bother me in a 16 year old pushrod V8 unless it suddenly changed or was visible/smelled.

You can try some thicker oil or some of that compression restore/no oil burn stuff in a can but it just temporarily hides it. The buyer will notice it the first time he changes the oil. Ive fallen victim to that in the past

Hmmmm.....my stock engine when it had a little over 50,000 miles on it, i had to put a quart in in between oil changes.....for some odd reason it stoped....

I still had to put oil in her, but not nearly at the rate a was....im trying to recall if there were any new parts i put on around that time

I think all of mine that I've ever owned have used oil and needed some added between oil changes.

Alright i was worried it was a problem but now know its common lol. I mean I had to add a quart at like 3000 miles on the change and again a couple weeks ago, but im changing it this weekend. I change it about every 5000 to 6000 miles because i use synthetic
