I'm not sure. I don't know specifics on valve spring pressure and install heights/diameter etc. Your best best is to call COMP and ask what springs you need for a stock cam and get a price that way.

well i just called COMP and got the part number for the springs that i need now do i also need new retainers and keepers or can i just use the stock ones?

See how much they are....if there cheap, just make every thing new.....but to answer your question, i dont know

theyre around $50 but if i can reuse mine then i will, i am putting new seals in which are around 10 - 20, the springs are about 80

EDIT: i wouldnt be able to reuse the retainers unless the new springs were 1.37 outside diameter

well i'm just gonna go ahead and order the trick flow kit from late model restoration, its the cheapest i can find and its got everything I'll need

That's a good kit mang.
I ran those on my P heads with a tfs1 cam and never had any issues.

many people on the corral suggest the drop in kit from alex parts. scrool down to the bottom of the page for the kits. about $100 bucks

Awesome find!!! im just placed my order here. but quick question. why must you call your credit card in? i havnt done this yet i have to do it monday, but why dont they just have the form online?
