Valve train question
Well, for those who have been following along, I was able to get the lifter fished out of the oil pan.
I also went back and re-checked the PTV clearance with a solid lifter I converted from a hydraulic. That made a big difference. ![]() ![]() My issue now is the roller rocker is riding on the far outer edge of the valve stem, and not moving past the center as I turn the motor over. I colored the valve stem black with a sharpie, and you can tell where the roller made the mark. Any suggestions on how I can fix this or what the problem might be? Thanks again in advance everybody. Load them into photobucket...then there's a link you copy and paste and it will show up.
