upgrading my 67 project...
so I purchased a 5.0L 302 for my 67 mustang project. So i figured i'd come here to ask a question. Does the plenum on this engine suggest that it didn't come off of a mustang? Which is what the guy i bought it from told me... my dad and i thought it'd be off of a truck due to the height of the plenum...
![]() any opinions are appreciated, and i'm planning on selling this AOD tranny, if anyone is interested.

Im not 100% but i agree with you...and think its a truck motor..
Do you plan on keeping it fuel injected....it would be sweet if you did

i'm thinking that i'd like to keep it fuel injected... but not sure how that will work with my 67... i'm not terribly mechanically inclined, but i'm attempting to do a complete restore to learn the ropes... any opinions on the FI would be nice

It is possible that someone pulled the motor out of a Mustang and put it into a truck though... You will certainly want to verify and check the firing order of the cam that's in it. As far as the fuel injection goes, well, you could pull an entire harness from a Mustang, or F150 depending on the motor, but an aftermarket fuel injection setup may actually be easier, but can expensive. Google 'Fast Easy EFI' and you'll see what I mean.

When you get to that point, start a thread about keeping the fuel injection
