I think that ones a pass for the money it would cost to get street worthy you could buy a $2000 fox that you can drive home, the body needs a new paint job the bottom is probably rotted to hell and mechanical problems are probably the reason it was parked in the first place.

Its rough....do you have the time and money to fix it up ?

Id try and talk him down to 600, then i say go for it, as long as the only rust is , surface rust.....if any where has rot all the way through then i say pass. But even at 800, you could part it out and get your money back if things dont work out

Cool

If you got the time , patience, & money , go for it.

One of the shock towers need to be fixed, some rust on the lower part of it. This an easy fix?

Not the easiest fix. If I were to guess, there is a frame rail section that the bolts for the k member go through, and it's probably there. It's a cut out, fab new pieces, and weld back in process. If you haven't the skills yourself, your best bet is to have the motor pulled out before you take is somewhere so that you can lower the cost of labor. And if one side needs it, it's most likely both need it. It's a great place for salt/road grime to sit and take up moisture to keep rotting it.

If you can get the car for $500 thats not a bad deal. Strip the car down and go to a 3 day swap meet. Sit there with your friends drink beer and make more then your money back, all while getting a nice 3 day buzz.

For the A/C, your best bet is to get a whole new kit from LRS for 800 bucks, I think. It's already 134 ready. All the parts are new and ready to go.
