Depends on how well you can tune it.

Make sure your fuel system is up to the task of sending extra fuel by upgrading your pump for safety. If you are using a dry shot, upgrade your injectors as well.

First off STOP YELLING AT US!
keep pushing it up till your engine blows up... then wherever it ran it without blowing up thats where you should have stopped.. on stock components its just borrowed time no matter what you run. your tune will have everything to do with it. if you have the octaine and suffecient fuel to keep it out of detonation it will run as long as the parts will last. i have herd of people running up to 200 hp shot of nitrous on stock motors for some before they blew up. then i have watched people blow them up on a 75 shot.. the current condition of your engine has alot to do with it.... do you have 100k+ miles on it?

I did have over 100k but the engine has been rebuilt from ground up... and i really don't want to push it until my engine blows up because I don't have money like that to be replacing a engine... but I can do the things to prevent it
so all it depends on is how you tune the fuel system? |

Allllllll depends on the tune. Here's some examples for you....
My friend has a 5.0 swapped Mitsubishi station with gt40ps/explorer intake/bcam and he ran a 175 shot through a dry shot. He sprayed it quite a few times and it was fine. I've seen local guys spray their Honda's with a 75 shot and they blew their shit up... There's a local machine shop called Ace Crankshaft and their head Porter has a roller xxx block with stock rods/crank with aftermarket pistons and he sprays a 150 shot in first gear. When second hits he hits it with a 300. Yes, you read right. A 300. His tune is spot on and he doesn't rattle his bottom end. For your car, I'd say read the instructions that come with the kit (very conservative tune) and spray a 100 shot. Good luck.

I would and have done NOS setups. Supercharged setups I wouldn't touch.

The guy doing my tune up ran a 300 shot for two years on a stock 302. I know a few people that have done it. As noted before, I've seen people melt their shit on a 100 shot too.

tuning is just an afternoon on the dyno. or having a good datalogging wideband. being able to read plugs and knowing what detonation sounds like so you can get out of it before it goes kaboom.
your still gonna have to tune it with a supercharger setup. have you thought about just doing like a heads/cam/intake/exhaust setup maybe even add a stroker kit in there first?? would be about the same as a new supercharger and you will gain close to the same amount if not more power and then have room to grow later for a supercharger/ nitrous.
