Should I buy it?
I found this big family that are in need of money while the big brother is out working 24/7, work, home, sleep, work everyday. Alright well i found an 88 foxbody 5.0 5 speed hit in the front by a quad which then led to the guy hitting a truck. Well the whole front is pushed in to the rad, it will need a FL fender, FR fender, bumper, head light assembly, rad support, hood, and the windshield got cracked bad. Passenger side door has rust a lot, more than ive seen on any foxbody. The trans shifts fine (no its not drivable you cant see out the windshield and the hood is blocking your view ) it starts though. But yeah is it worth it for me to buy it? It has a cobra intake, injectors, cai, rebuilt trans. Nothing going for it really other than just the engine mods and tranny rebuild but i can get this car for $450, i have a 96 5.0 already but i want a foxbody and i dont mind if it needs parts i can get them from people i know but not dirt cheap. Should I buy it? I forgot to look at the miles, and also im sure it'll need other little things but i mean overall it's solid.

I think you have your mind made up already...... out of all the things you mentioned, its the radiator support and the really rusted door that scares me... the rest of the body panel are cheap to get.
Id really look that car over to makes sure that other then the door theres no rust

Another question is, did the insurance company total it, and would it be an "R" title? Sometimes with older cars and high mileage, the insurance co's won't hesitate to just total them.

Here's the deal I haven't talked to the guy who drives it but i talked to the lady its in her name and she says the title is clear, i forget the miles i will look when i go see it next weekend. But she said the insurance company does know about it but shes not sure what they did. |
