I want to do an engine swap.

I have a 94 5.0 mustang. Its got some valve train problem, its either the piston rings or the valve guides. But the thing about my car that i HATE is all of the wires and computers that just get in my way while im trying to work on it.
So i was wondering if i could just rip out all the annoying wires and stuff and just put in a engine. Like older car. no wires just motor. How would i do this??

All suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

Only way that will work is if u change your intake rip wires and go carb or u could do what im doing and that is hiding the wires in the fenders

Get rid of the intake tube, upper and lower manifolds, fuel rails, injectors and throttle cable/throttle body. You'll need a new throttle cable, Intake manifold, carburetor and an air cleaner.

There is a video on youtube that explains how to swap your sn95 efi engine to a carbed setup. It is very detailed.

You may need a different distributor....not positive on that one, think you need to change outto a lower pressure pump, or put a regulator on it

If the carb thing is the only way you know how, then how is it you don't know how to convert it to a carbed set up?
