Quit yelling! Lol. Turn the caps lock off man. There is sooooooo much more to looking for heads than just that. I suggest you read on here a lot before you buy some. Combustion chamber cc will contribute to your compression ratio, intake cc will help determine your rpm range and power capabilities... Putting a really large intake cc head on a small cube motor will only let that motor really shine in the upper rpm range, possibly leaving you with a narrow powerband depending on the rest of your combination.

lol so what you recommend some good sizes because i don't know at all.. I have gt40 upper and lower right now until i get different and a b303 cam... if that info helps. i would rather have some heads that helps the gt40 intakes perform better and the cam but not go backwards in the power range if i get better intakes that aren't compatible with the heads if thats makes any sense...

Ok, before you go throwing money at parts, you need a realistic goal, and a budget. Are you keeping it a 302? Going to stroke it later? Are you going to ditch that intake for a good one? Everything needs to work together, and you have to plan ahead.

Trick Flow Twisted Wedge 170, AFR 165, Edelbrock Performer (1.9 intake), FRPP GT40X heads are all good starting points on a stock short block for a mild street car. While your in there, sell that B303 and get yourself a Trick Flow stage 1, Comp XE266HR, or Anderson N21 cam. Either one of those will make more power than the old B cam, plus alot more drivabuility!

plan on keeping it a 302... and what qualifies a 302 to be stock? having original pistons and crank?

Shortblock is block and rotating assembly (pistons, rods, crank). Long block includes heads and sometimes other misc. parts.

Without breaking the bank doesn't mean much. To me a dollar is like a hundred. To 69Fastback... well he wipes his ass with hundred dollar bills.

So if you get what I'm saying, tell us your budget and we can tell you what things to look for in that budget range to get you your biggest bang for the buck. If you can afford prime rib, we're not gonna suggest a McRib....

2g's is a moderate budget that will allow you to do a nice used intake, used heads, all the supporting hardware, and new/used cam. Then you'll still need another 5-600 for a tune. See where I'm going with this. What are ALL the mods you have on the car currently. From motor to suspension. What is the amount of working cash that you have available right now. And most importantly when you say street car, that means no to very little track use, right?

Mine's a street car too, but by the way he was talking, I figured that is what he meant, lol, not my interpretation of the meaning of street car.

well the only mods i have right now are a cold air intake, gt40 upper and lower, shorty heads, performance plugs and wired, msd cap, cam, exhaust, and a 3:73 gear, as for suspension is stock i just got the car and just put the engine and trans in it and its a shift kit in the trans if that matters.... and i planned on doing mostly all work myself i want to me a engineer when i gets bought you guys age i reckon your older than me, so y not practice on my own stuff, but what i mean by street car is a car that sit nice on the Cobra R's i have but also light them bitches up with no problem on a light to light... no cage or gutting it out like 69fastback i consider that a race car lol

It's not gutted. It will have every piece of stock interior, right down to the factory console and radio.
